A cartoon in my latest New Yorker is so hilarious AND apt that I just need to share:
I usually love
Chast's work regardless - she's the most consistently funny of the many fine artists at the New Yorker. This cartoon was particularly amusing as it perfectly matches what I imagine my mom thinks about when I talk about my desire to move to Oakland. "No, no... they shoot people in the back and set cop cars on fire in the OTHER part of Oakland. Rockridge is totally sweet."
